There are so many things that go into perfecting your feminine look…
Now that it’s the dead of winter (at least in the Northern Hemisphere), you’ve got the added challenge of freezing temps.
But that doesn’t mean you can’t look feminine and sexy despite the cold!
Here are 3 tips – specifically for crossdressers and MTF transgender women – on how to feminize your look for the winter.
1. Wear a shape-enhancing coat
Your coat is the first thing people see when it’s cold. In fact, it might be the ONLY thing they see you in, so it’s an important piece in your feminine wardrobe.
Here are some dos and don’ts to consider:
- DON’T add unnecessary bulk with a puffy or oversized coat.
- DO try a belted coat to shape your waist.
- DON’T wear double breasted coats if you have a wide chest. (Single breasted styles are more slimming)
- DO look for coats with princess seams or pleats and gathers around the hips to feminize your shape.
2. Go for bright colors
Don’t blend in with the gray, dreary weather. The best way to look pretty this time of year is to wear bright colors.
Instead of a basic black winter coat, why not try something fun? Coats come in a rainbow of colors these days and range from pastels to jewel tones.
If a neutral coat is more your style, you can still add a touch of bold color with your scarf, hat, and gloves.
3. Choose the right boots
Wearing cute boots is the best part about cold weather!
But if you’re walking on ice and slush, heels are a nightmare. This does NOT mean you must resort to chunky, unattractive snow boots.
Instead, look for boots with a wedge heel. The height of a heel adds sex appeal, while a rubber wedge sole gives you traction so you don’t slip.
Let’s see your winter look!
Even if you don’t go outside en femme, these tips can still apply. Why not be a snow bunny for your next private photo shoot? You don’t have to show skin to look sexy!
